Hello you mighty fine people, here are some pics of my now 90% completed green MMPR / Dragon Zyuranger suit, on its Mannequin.
These pics are large, apologies, but I figured 95% of people have broadband now so....also they dont do it justice, trust me, lol the camera just isnt good at capturing the colour of the spandex.

The Helmet is MightyMorphinPR's sculpt, painted by Blast and repaired/touched up by Abrera and myself.

The Suit is Tech_Styles, along with the belt and underhood.

The Shield was originally made by Kylash but I have practically stripped and rebuilt the whole thing, 25% bigger, repainted, more levels.

Arm Bands, Gloves, Dragon Dagger prop, boot cuffs all made by me. Gloves/Cuffs are being replaced with real japanese leather sentai ones from Buzz's Room when they arrive.

Boots are cheapo ones of a website Abrera found (good man.) They are very good looking on the mannequin but still aren't right, they are the 10% I need to fix.

Buckle is by MightyMorphinPR with reprolabels stickers to enhance it, I bolted it onto the belt so its secure.

Holster made by Abrera

Mannequin was from ebay.

What do you think?

Sweet display, Tom! That shield is the best one I've seen for the MMPR Green. You got some skillz there, man. The dagger is looking pretty good, too. Overall, that's one awesome display

And do I spy a picture of the USS Enterprise in the background? :)

That mannequin looks awesome! How does he keep from tipping, is there a brace that goes around the calf or is there a rod that sticks up through the boot? I had one of those freestanding ones from ebay that tipped over and cracked the heck out of a rogue green helmet. Ever since then I've been afraid of putting my jess helmet on any mannequin. Also, the daggers looking sweet. Great work Tom!

Here you can see, I had to make a small incision in the back of one boot (which I'll sew up if I cosplay again) and the metal rod goes into the back of the lower leg and holds it to the metal base that is very, very heavy. I would take one hell of a knock to push this over, plus my jess helm is very very strong, very thick, I expect it would take a mighty crash to break it. Not that I want to tempt that theory!

Thanks for taking that pic. I was looking at the other pictures again and the thing i like so much about this mannequin is its stance. Most of the mannequins on ebay are in positions no ranger would be caught dead doing. Another good thing is that the feet are close together with the hands at the sides thus saving space. Great find!

Thnakyou!
I chose this mannequin as its stance was simple, which meant it would be cheaper, plus there are no true PR style manneuins available, so it was the option. When it has the better gloves, my second suit is perfect :)

lies, lies all lies lol. Well, maybe theres some truth to it :P I think the price helped a teensy bit.

It does look spiffy, I will admit :)

But you don't need the praise, you already know how good it looks (Y)

It looks great, makes me want to get one for AbareMax, not that i'd have anywhere to put it lol. BTW I believe the pic of the Enterprise is called a Lithograph.

All I did was dismantel a toy and insert a new cut out plastic blade. Then used some car body filler, sanded into shape to fill the gap, and painted it. A novice job really, certainly not one that i'd feel comfortable charging for.
I know with fair certainty that some accurate Dragon Daggers are in the making, just wait for them. :)

Lithograph. Ill try to remember lol.
